RX SCHOOLS

The RX area has great potential for study at all levels - pre-school, primary, secondary, university and beyond,
… on a wide range of subjects: History, Science, Geography, Art, English
… in exciting and unusual locations: shore, saltmarsh, shingle, reedbeds, river valleys, woods, castle and more.

There are existing facilities where groups can be conducted by experienced leaders at;
RSPB Dungeness contact Heather Chantler, Lifelong Learning Officer 01797 320588,
Rye Harbour Nature Reserve contact Miriam Bowley 01797 227784 or see web site by clicking here,
RSPCA Mallydams contact 01424 812055.

There is also now a support group for any teacher working in or interested in using the RX area for outdoor education. This is a blog co-ordinated by Cliff Dean, a primary teacher at Winchelsea School who also contributes regularly to RX Wildlife.
