Rye Harbour
Avian highlights over the past two days have included 2 Little Ringed Plover on Harbour Farm pools, Merlin along Shore Ridges on both days, several Common Tern roosting along the shore at low water and a Redstart at Parkes Hide. At Castle Water 3 Garganey (2 drakes) were out from the hide, a couple of Reed Warblers have joined the handfull of Sedge Warblers, 5 Swallows were feeding over the new excavations and 4 Yellow Wagtail were at various points on the short grassy areas along the footpath at the northern end of the main pit.
