Beach Reserve
Highlights this morning included 460 Oystercatcher roosting along the shore, 27 Brent Geese on Flat Beach Flood, 4 Red-breasted Merganser on the Quarry (Denny Hide), where there was also a Woodcock, a Kingfisher at the Wader Pool, 5 Rock Pipit along the river near the Red Roofed Hut, a Merlin showed well along Shore Ridges. Recent highlights from Castle Water have been 430 Teal, 550 Wigeon, Bittern inflight from the viewpoint and 3 Marsh Harrier.
