Chatty day
Wheatears have had their worst breeding season at Rye Harbour - very few pairs arrived back to breed in the spring, and very few young were seen. However, during the last week many migrant Wheatear have appeared, so they are once again a common sight along the beach. Today I also saw my first Whinchat and 2 very young and spotty juvenile Stonechat.
