1st March 2010, MondayWaders have provided most interest this morning highlights have included 120 Sanderling, 63 Grey Plover ,140 Knot, 260 Oystercatcher and 32 Turnstone roosting along Shore Ridges at high water. At day break 270 Curlew and 50 Dunlin were feeding along the shore . Flat Beach Level has attracted 42 Golden Plover, 500 Lapwing, 22 Redshank, 14 Snipe and 20 Ringed Plover. At Ternery Pool at least 22 Mediterranean Gull were present amongst the increasing numbers of Black-headed Gulls, at Castle Water 2 Bittern were reported from the hide.
