Castle Water
1st February 2010, MondayReported sightings from the Castle Water hide this morning have included 4 or 5 Bittern, 5 Smew (2 drake), 3 Marsh Harrier, 8 Pintail and good numbers of Wigeon and Teal. A Peregrine also passed overhead at the northern end of the main pit.
