RSPB Dungeness recent sightings

Three black-necked grebes were found on Denge Marsh yesterday and are still present today. The first smew of the winter were seen on Tuesday on New Excavations and a pair and six red-heads were seen yesterday. Two glossy ibises, a great white egret and at least one penduline tit are still present. Bitterns are being seen daily at the ARC site and Denge Marsh.
