Castle Water

Highlights from Castle Water this morning included 32 Little Egret and a Bittern from the viewpoint at dawn, from the hide mid morning 4 Pintail, 18 Snipe, Water Rail, Green Sandpiper, Marsh Harrier, several Grey Heron plus good numbers of Wigeon, Teal and Shoveler. A Snow Bunting and Merlin along Shore Ridges provided the highlights from the Beach Reserve.
