12th November 2009, ThursdayRoosting waders this morning included, 360 Curlew, 19 Redshank and Black-tailed Godwit on Harbour Farm Pools, 500 Lapwing spread between Ternery Pool and Quarry, 320 Oystercatcher, 12 Grey Plover, 25 Sanderling, 42 Ringed Plover and 17 Turnstone along Shore Ridges. In addition, a Bittern showed well at Narrow Pits late morning, and a Marsh Harrier was present at Castle Water early afternoon.
