RSPB Dungeness recent sightings

Highlights from the 1st to 6th of October.
Gloosy ibis - five are still present on Denge Marsh. They have been showing well on most days in October so far. They have been observed to split into two groups, a group of three and a group of two. Hobby - seen catching dragonflies over new excavations on 2nd. Peregrine - over Hookers on 4th. Avocet - on the ARC pit on 2nd. Knot - two on the ARC pit on 2nd. Little stint - two on ARC pit on 1st, and 3rd, and one on 4th. Dunlin - seven on ARC on 4th. Ruff- three on ARC pit on 4th. Black-tailed godwit - one on ARC on 2nd. Raven - two over Hooker’s pits on 4th.
