Dawn at the viewpoint before the mist rolled in produced 82 Little Egret leaving the roost, 3 Hobby, at least 10 Bearded Tit and 2 calling Cetti’ Warbler. Golden Plover (pictured) have started to arrive over the past few days with the traditional roosting place on Flat Beach being used 22 birds were present this morning. At Ternery Pool 500 Sandwich Tern can still be found rosting on the islands out from Crittall Hide and the last of the breeding Common Terns are still fledging young.
