Castle Water
12th May 2009, TuesdayHighlights at Castle Water today included 15 Bar-tailed Godwit, Green Sandpiper and Marsh Harrier on the new excavations, 2 drake Garganey were again viewable from the hide where a Hobby also gave good views. At the viewpoint Bearded Tit showed well in the nearest reeds and Cuckoo, Lesser Whitethroat and Blackcap were present in the nearby willows.
