5th March 2009, ThursdayHighlights today have included 3 Marsh Harrier at Castle Water in flight over the new excavations, at the viewpoint a Firecrest showed well in the nearest bramble scrub and a pair of Great Crested Grebe put on a fine courtship dance. On the Beach Reserve Redshanks, Ringed Plovers and Oystercatchers are displaying on Flat Beach and Ternery Pool, 10 Mediterranean Gull and 15 Snipe were there also.
