Beach Reserve
2nd February 2009, MondayWith a bitter easterly wind whipping across the Beach Reserve and a light covering of snow, many birds at first glance seemed to have vacated the area. But after a walk around Habour Farm and along the shore a few highlights were found, 330 Curlew and a Black-tailed Godwit were roosting around the pools near the barns, a Barn Owl and Marsh Harrier also showed well there. 35 Grey Plover,180 Dunlin and 49 Knot were present along the shore.
