13th January 2009, TuesdayHighlights this morning have included at least 3 Bittern, 24 Little Egret and 4 Water Rail from the viewpoint at Castle Water, sadly no calling Cetti’s Warblers. On the Beach Reserve waders feeding along the shore included 111 Knot, 380 dunlin, 20 Grey plover and 108 Curlew, rather quite on Flat Beach of late but 72 Golden Plover were roosting this morning.
