Two bitterns were seen from Christmas Dell hide again today. The black-necked grebe was on Denge Marsh, dunlin, kingfisher and chiffchaff were seen from the Visitor Centre and a male hen harrier was seen at the Hanson-ARC site. Smew and goosander were also present.
Highlights today have included, 3 Woodcock flushed on West Beach, 18 Ruff, 22 Golden Plover and 50 Curlew on Wader Pool, Marsh Harrier, Merlin and Barn Owl on Harbour Farm.
