RSPB Dungeness recent sightings
12th December 2008, FridayThursday 11 December:A bittern was seen from Denge Marsh hide and six goosanders (a male and five redheads) were on Burrowes pit. Bewick’s swan, merlin, chiffchaff and goldcrest were also of note.
Friday 12: The six goosanders were still present and a Siberian chiffchaff was seen near the Hanson-ARC hide.
