SOS Walk, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve
Nine members of the Sussex Ornithological Society turned out this morning for their annual walk around Castle Water. Waders on the grassland included good numbers of Lapwing, nine Ruff, a couple of Redshank and singletons of Golden Plover and Curlew and attracted the attention of a Peregrine which flew over mid-morning.
