RSPB Dungeness

The two common cranes have been with us for over a fortnight now, even with them moving around the site most visitors have been able to get a good view of them. They seem to be enjoying themselves here and it’s good to see them putting the greylag geese in their place. Another rare visitor that has been on the reserve for a few days now is the white winged black tern. This has been spotted mainly over Burrows pit and also over the ARC.
Other birds spotted today include little gull, merlin, knot, crossbill, wheatear and black tern.
