Pett Pools

Waders on the roadside pool this afternoon were: 22 Dunlin, 14 Black-tailed Godwit, 7 Ringed Plover, 6 Avocet and single Snipe and Wood Sandpiper. Nearby, there were a few Lapwing and Curlew and a lone Little Egret. Few birds were on the sea - no terns at all and perhaps 20 Common Scoter.

Castle Water

Highlights from Castle Water this morning, 3 Wood Sandpiper, 3 Little Ringed Plover, 12 Black-tailed Godwit, Green and Common Sandpiper and 100 Sand Martin.
