Rye Harbour Moths
11th June 2008, WednesdayAnother decent morning with around 40 species and 150 individuals, the majority either Heart & Dart (45) or Small Elephant (10). Rarities included more Vipers Bugloss Moth, Shore Wainscot, White Colon and Cream-bordered Green Pea (even thinking about the name makes me smile), while new species included Dark Spectacle, Common Wave, several Eyed Hawkmoth and a super Privet Hawkmoth (below).
