Beach Reserve
12th April 2008, SaturdayHighlights this morning, 53 Golden Plover, 4 Whimbrel and 19 Knot were on Flat Beach/Quarry, 26 Avocet and a Little Ringed Plover were on the new pools on Harbour Farm. Good numbers of Sandwich Tern and a few Common Tern were at Ternery Pool. Waders roosting along Shore Ridges included 9 Grey Plover and at least 100 Sanderling. Yesterday at Castle Water 4 Garganey were on the new excavations.
