Scotney and Pett

This morning at SCOTNEY there were still 2 LONG TAILED DUCKS but this time they were on the Sussex side, along with a good view of a RED-NECKED GREBE also good numbers of GREY LAG GEESE and a Blue phase SNOW GOOSE.
PETT SEA WALL
It was extremely windy on the wall this morning ,the tide was almost up ,there was good movement of Auks, about 100 moving west, but the sea was too rough to make any identifications of them.
On the marsh there were 42 GREY PLOVER,120 GOLDEN PLOVER, 300 CURLEW, 1500 LAPWING, 3 RUFF,100 DUNLIN, 20 REDSHANK ,the WHITE FRONTED GEESE are still on the marsh but I couldn’t count them. A MARSH HARRIER (cream head) put in a brief appearance .
