News from RSPB Dungeness
4th November 2007, SundayTen brent geese and a single grey plover flew over during the morning and a first year caspian gull showed well around the shingle island in front of the visitor centre. The two bewick’s swans, origionally seen on the ARC pit, were relocated on one of the pools in the grazing fields behind Hookers pits and a merlin was seen from the viewing ramp. Yesterdays spoonbill was still on the ARC pit and a rock pipit was on the islands in front of Firth hide.  Â
