The first movement of autumn thrushes involving any number of birds with small groups of fieldfares (46) and redwings (125) moving through throughout much of the day. Other birds passing over the reserve included two bramblings, 17 redpolls and at least 23 siskins, with smaller numbers of song thrushes and blackbirds. The little stint was still in front of makepeace, along with two grey plovers and two garganeys and a black necked grebe was in the corner of new diggings, viewable from Hide 1.
