Moths recorded during the Friends of Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve Moth Morning included only one migrant a rusty dot pearl. Although there was a nice selection of typical autumn moths including common marbled carpet, autumnal rustic, square-spot rustic, black rustic, brick, yellow-line quaker, flounced chestnut, lunar underwing, barred sallow, angle shades and a snout.

Also 3 dark bush-crickets were present around the trap in Warren Cottage garden.
From wildhastings
3 Bramblings heard calling over Warren Glen, about 15 Redpolls and 30 Siskins over, on returning to the carpark 9 Tree Sparrows flew in off the sea and disappeared inland at about 8.55
