Mass Emergence
2nd August 2007, ThursdayJust a follow up to the post 30th july 2007 Migrant Hawker. In a patch of emergent vegetation measuring 3 x 7 metres in a small shingle pool on Harbour Farm (pictured), 71 Migrant Hawker have emerged over the past two nights. Below is a picture of the collected shed larval skins.
