News from RSPB Dungeness
17th December 2006, SundayA bittern was seen again from Christmas Dell hide this afternoon. Smews (4 red heads and two males) were visible from Scott hide in the morning and from the Visitor Centre in the afternoon. A female goosander and a kingfisher were seen from Scott hide as well. Another kingfisher was seen on the path leading to ARC hide. Four snipe were visible from Denge Marsh hide and a chiffchaff was reported near Hanson ARC hide. Up to two marsh harriers were seen today.Â
