RXwildlife Sightings

Today’s sightings include black-tailed godwit, marsh harrier, stonechat and chiffchaff. 

Rather late wheatear and whitethroat were also seen today. 

Swallows are still passing through as well. 

The Buff-breasted Sandpiper was still present on Flat Beach Level this morning, sometimes quite close to the footpath by the Red-roofed Hut. Also present here 2 Little Stint, 350+ Golden Plover, 54 Dunlin, 52 Ringed Plover, 4 Grey Plover, two Wheatear and singles of Snipe and Brent Goose. Birds feeding on the shore included another nine Grey Plover, 328 Oystercatcher and 68 Curlew, while two Rock Pipit were present at the river mouth.
