3rd September 2006, SundayToday’s highlight was an arctic skua blown over Burrowes pit at 10:55 a.m. A good variety of waders were recorded on the reserve including: green and common sandpiper, little stint, black-tailed godwit, ruff, and dunlin. A black tern was seen from ARC hide and a hobby was also recorded.
