News from RSPB Dungeness
24th August 2006, ThursdayOn a quiet afternoon when the only people in the visitor centre were members of staff, one of our volunteers, Martin, spotted an Osprey.
The bird attepted to feed on Burrow’s pit, in a wonderful display, going in the water feet first, as ospreys do, but then gave up after being heavily mobbed by our resident birds.
We wished we could share such a lovely sight with more visitors!
