News from RSPB Dungeness
12th August 2006, SaturdayDespite the rotten weather we managed to see a few birds today, the highlights being:Â seven garganey, one wood sandpiper and two green sandpipers at Denge Marsh and about 2000 sand martins over the ARC pit.Â
Our Wildlife and Countryside Fair continues tomorrow and, as most attractions are under cover, should provide a good day out, whatever the weather.
