Doleham
Out in the Brede Valley, a keen and doleful wind sweeps up from the coast, scouring out songbirds from all but the densest cover. Numbers of all common species seem low and there is no sign of Linnets, though by this time last year, they were already arriving.
By the sheltered Doleham Stream, however, lambs skip and nuzzle, with 8 Meadow Pipits and 10 bright Pied Wagtails running among them.
