Pannel Valley
A diverse selection of birds yesterday included a trio of raptors, Hen Harrier, Merlin and Peregrine and good counts of duck most notably 14 Pintail on the scrape, as well as 100+ Wigeon on Carter’s flood. 11 Ruff were on the flood and over 100 Fieldfares still came to roost in the reedbed.
Of note from the 14th was a Long Eared Owl perched by the scrape.
