Winchelsea Beach

A late morning visit to the coastal scrub to the east of the car park at the end of Dogs Hill Road produced a Wryneck around the marshy pond next to the sea wall (approximately 400m east of the car park).

A poor record shot of the Wryneck which only had one tail feather!

Also in the area, a female Merlin, 3 Turtle Doves and good numbers of Sylvia warblers.
