5th September 2005, Monday

Early morning rain brought a small arrival of migrants. The pick of which were a juvenile Dotterel flying over the Desert and a Wryneck which gave excellent views throughout the day, first in the moat and latterly in the Desert. Other grounded migrants included two Redstarts, four Whinchats, about 20 ‘Greenland’ Wheatears and a Ring Ouzel.
