Around the reserve this morning
a total of 37 Little Tern were present this morning, mainly on the shore, but with smaller numbers on the Shore Ridges, Flat Beach and Camber Sands, along with six Bar-tailed Godwit and four Grey Plover (on the Quarry and the shore). Also, four Whimbrel were present on the Wader Pool early a.m.
Both a Hobby and two Avocet flew over the Beach Reserve during the morning, while a flock of 50+ Common Scoter were seen offshore.
