Dawn on the Beach Reserve
23rd April 2005, SaturdayGood numbers of Gulls and Terns at Ternery Pool early this morning:
3000 + Black Headed Gull
600 Sandwich Tern
42 Common Tern
The Whimbrel roost on Flat Beach has started to pick up now,
61 Whimbrel and 4 Bar Tailed Godwit were counted leaving this morning. At least 30 Whimbrel were later seen feeding in fields at Castle Water.
