Pett latest

At about 16.00 I scanned the sea but could see nothing unusual among the grebes & scoters. The situation was complicated by thousands of Common Gulls arriving to roost from the west, among them an adW Med Gull.
Among the grebes were 180 Wigeon - the usual flock from the pools area.
On the roadside pool, at least 14 Ruddy Ducks were displaying.
At the back, numbers of Greylags have risen to 74, with at least 1 Whitefront and a single Brent.
A ringtail Hen Harrier glided past them.
