Slavonian grebe - 1 ARC pit, 1 New Excavations
Black-necked grebe - ARC pit
Red-crested pochard - pair at Hooker’s pits
Bittern - 3 sightings (Hooker’s pits, Christmas Dell and Makepeace hide) of at least two different birds.
A bittern was seen this morning at Glyne Gap marsh.

At Pett Level 0745 this morning: 2 Bitterns circling over and eventually landing at, the weaternmost pool.
616 Great Crested Grebes close in along the tideline.
1 Whitefronted Goose with Greylags.

The Lesser Scaup was present this morning.
On a calm sea this morning a quick count totalled 370 Great-crested Grebe and 450 Common Scoter. Many of the grebes being close to the shore.

White-fronted Geese - 2 behind pools this afternoon.
While I was sat in the hide at Castle Water this evening I could see 200+ Golden Plover and many hundreds of Lapwing to the east of the Rother.
